Hello and welcome to Mendip Fibromyalgia Support Group
Mendip Fibromyalgia Support group is a peer support group to help those who are affected with fibromyalgia and related conditions (such as ME, CFS, Lupus, MS, Long Covid) in the Mendip area. As a group we are positive and friendly and love welcoming new members. We started in May 2011 as three or four people meeting once a month for a drink and a chat and since then we have just kept growing. We meet on the first Wednesday of the month in Binegar Memorial Hall, where you will regularly see 20 or more people sitting round the tables drinking tea and making friends. We have people come in to give talks on areas that may help those of us suffering with fibro, for example we’ve had talks from health trainers, hypnotists and teachers of the Alexander technique. We also have talks on topics of general interest.
We also meet on the third Monday of each month in Crispin Community Cenre in Street.
